Weekend in Vegas
This year has been a lot – it’s time to celebrate. Andy is turning 50 and I decided it would be fun to go to Las Vegas and check out some of the newer things that have opened up (Area 15) and also to celebrate his birthday at the unique bar and restaurant, The Golden Tiki owned by our friend Branden.

Birthday dinner at SUSHISAMBA at the canal shoppes at the Venetian. Dinner reservation is 9:45pm but we will probably gather in their bar earlier for a drink. (~9pm)

We plan to arrive in Las Vegas Thursday night so we can relax Friday morning since Friday is Andy’s birthday. Here’s our current plan.

Just passing along some info we’ve heard for booking a hotel room. We are staying at the Golden Nugget downtown but some friends are also staying at Treasure Island and told us about a good deal they got: if you book under “TV Ad Promotion” at Treasure Island prices start at $79/night plus taxes (13.38%)…

We are staying at the Golden Nugget. Classic Downtown hotel on Freemont. They’ve got a cool pool with a shark tank. A waterslide goes right by! Andy posted on FB So then Andy asked me to do a quick (and bad… very bad!!!) photoshop…
